Mission:
Dr. Isiac Jackson, Jr. has selected Philippians 4: 13 as the Convention theme Scripture:
“I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me”
He has also challenged the Laymen to continue to grow our ministry.
In keeping with his theme scripture, and understanding that Jesus has made Promises that the Holy Spirit would be with us in our works, when we put God first and keep His commandments, we have chosen as a Theme:
“Receiving the Promise”
Our Theme Scripture:
(Deuteronomy 6:3) Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
(Deuteronomy 6:4) Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
(Deuteronomy 6:5) And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
(Deuteronomy 6:6) And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
(Deuteronomy 6:7) And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children

Purpose:
1. Enlist and coordinate the manpower of the local congregation for an
effective performance of essential Christian activities.
2. Cultivate the Christian life of laymen through study, worship, fellowship
and service.
3. Enlist un-churched men for fellowship in and service through the church
and to bring unsaved men into vital relations with God in Christ through
personal commitment to Him.
4. Inspire men to support the total ministry of the Church in the local
congregation, the community, the denomination and the world.
