Pastor Search Announcement & Qualifications 

Baker's Grove Missionary Baptist Church, established 125 years ago, has an active membership of 25 and six ministries: Deacons, Ushers, Missionary, Sunday School,  Kitchen/Youth Department, and Music. The church is prayerfully seeking a full-lime pastor who is called by God and equipped to effectively preach and teach the Word of God. The pastor will meet the spiritual needs of the congregation through visitations, prayer, officiating weddings and funerals, and administering the ordinances of the church. Candidates must also demonstrate the biblical and spiritual qualities outlined in Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1 :5-9. 

Pastor Qualifications 

•Licensed and ordained minister in the Baptist faith.

•Visionary leader with sound judgment and discernment.

•Minimum of five years pastoral experience preferred.

•Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; seminary training preferred.

•Strong written and oral communication skills.

•Growth-oriented with proven pastoral care ability.

•Demonstrates financial awareness and responsibility.

•Committed to ongoing education and professional development.

•Able to work effectively with congregants of all ages and genders.

•Strong administrative skills; able to organize and lead staff.

•Three letters of recommendation {clergy, layperson, personal).

•Copies of license, ordination certificate, and transcripts of educational accomplishments.
