This course is designed to teach the basic steps in developing a program of evangelism. Students will discover the appropriate Scriptures to use, and the methods, techniques, and media best suited for nonbelievers.

This course investigates the lives, theology, and methods of the great servants of God who dedicated their lives to the struggles for the liberation of people. The History of the United States cannot be accurately written without including the role of the African American church in the struggle for the liberation of people. Not enough is known about the lives of men and women who risked their very lives for this cause.

This course will focus on the Certificate of Progress Program writing requirements for Phase 3. Emphasis will be placed on the writing of documented research and the development of other skills necessary to complete the writing assignment in this phase. Students will be introduced to the library and the use of reference materials.

This course will strive to familiarize the students with the historical meaning of the words contained in the Negro gospel music, the influence of its heritage, the importance of its history and its social and spiritual impact for the present, and its importance for the future.

This course is designed for deans seeking recertification. Deans are required to be recertified every (5) years. Contemporary issues in Christian education, trends, and methods will be addressed as a portion of this course.

Drawing from the apostolic prayer in 3 John 1:2, this class is a practical response to the desire for our bodies to operate as well as our souls. We move past the modern obsession with vanity and instead enter the theological practice of stewardship. Participants will recognize that the body is the "earthen vessel" carrying a heavenly treasure; therefore, strengthening its frame is an act of honoring God, who created it. As we breathe and move, we bridge the gap between inner peace and outer strength. This class teaches all to prioritize fitness and faith to ensure that as we grow in grace, we also gain the endurance to live out our callings. This is more than a workout; it is a dedicated space to ensure that every part of us—heart, mind, and muscles—flourishes in unison.
