Building the foundation for the Seminary’s next chapter
Mississippi Baptist Seminary & Bible College is entering a historic season. Through the Legacy Builders Campaign, we are inviting supporters, alumni, former leaders, families, churches, and friends of the Seminary to help provide critical support during the accreditation review period.
A Historic Moment
After years of diligent work, careful planning, and institutional strengthening, Mississippi Baptist Seminary & Bible College is actively pursuing accreditation through its own efforts.
This accreditation process represents far more than a credential. It is an affirmation that Black Baptist theological education in Mississippi remains vibrant, relevant, and worthy of investment.
The Campaign Goal
The goal of the Legacy Builders Campaign is to secure 10 Legacy Builders who will each make a $10,000 pledge, creating a $100,000 fund to provide critical operational support during the accreditation review period.
This support will help the Seminary navigate this important season while demonstrating the institutional stability and support expected of an accredited seminary.
Who Is a Legacy Builder?
A Legacy Builder is more than a donor.
A Legacy Builder is someone who recognizes the significance of this moment and chooses to help carry Mississippi Baptist Seminary & Bible College across the finish line.
Legacy Builders may include alumni, former administrators, descendants of Seminary leaders, pastors, churches, ministry partners, or friends whose lives and leadership have been connected to the Seminary in a meaningful way.
Legacy Builders Hall of Fame
As a lasting expression of gratitude and recognition, each Legacy Builder will be permanently inducted into the Mississippi Baptist Seminary Legacy Builders Hall of Fame.
Located on the Seminary’s main campus in Jackson, the Hall of Fame will serve as a permanent tribute to those whose leadership, generosity, and vision helped the Seminary during this pivotal season.

Churches and supporters may also give through the 5th Sunday Seminary Campaign, which helps support accreditation needs, staffing, and facility maintenance at the main campus.
